This dataset provides the geographic locations of schools across Maryland, incorporating data from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Governor's Office of Children (GOC), Federal Department of Education (DOE), The Interagency Commission on School Construction (IAC), and the Maryland Department of Planning (MDP). All poverty-related metrics were sourced and developed by the Maryland State Department of Education. The dataset is updated annually to ensure the most current information is available. Locations of schools are provided for reference purposes only and should not be used for any other purposes.
This point feature class represents the locations of schools throughout the state of Maryland. The dataset was created using data from multiple sources, including the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Governor's Office of Children (GOC), Federal Department of Education (DOE), The Interagency Commission on School Construction (IAC), and the Maryland Department of Planning (MDP).
