Description: The Cultural/Historic Area layer was developed for use within the Maryland Growth and Conservation Interactive Map. It was developed using a combination of layers from the Maryland Historic Trust. The National Registry of Historic Places (National Registry of Historic Trust, 2020) and locally nominated Cultural or Historic Areas were combined by the Maryland Department of Planning Geospatial Data and Analysis Unit to produce this layer. This layer was most recently updated in March 2024. The layer will be updated when model inputs are updated by the Maryland Historic Trust.
